Our FOLK2FOLK Finalists for Devon & Cornwall Venus Awards

We’re thrilled to announce our FOLK2FOLK Finalists for ‘Influential Woman’ at the Devon & Cornwall Venus Awards 2019.

Hosted by Alexis Bowater and Tara Howard, founder of the Venus Awards, the Finalist announcement was held at the delightful Pentillie Castle in Cornwall. The building was full to the brim of inspirational and worthy women all with unique backgrounds hoping to secure a place as a Finalist  for the 2019 Devon & Cornwall Venus Awards and to go to the ball!

As sponsors the ‘Influential Woman’ category, we had the tricky task of selecting only three Finalist from our five Semi-Finalists. We were lucky enough to meet all of our five Semi-Finalists for a face-to-meeting at our FOLK2FOLK offices, we got to know them way beyond their initial applications and we were able to discuss and understand how Influential each Woman was.

After much discussion and deliberation we’re pleased to announce our FOLK2FOLK Finalists for ‘Influential Woman’ are:

Emily Beaumont – Plymouth Marjon University

Lucy Findlay – Social Enterprise Mark CIC

Alison Jordan – Pete’s Dragon

All of the Finalists will be invited to the glamorous Gala Dinner in St Mellion on 29th March.
