Unlocking LEADER funding in Cornwall: Last seminar

Following on from FOLK2FOLK’s LEADER funding information seminars in June, we’ve organised a final seminar for 30th July near St Austell.

About LEADER funding

LEADER funding is possibly one of the last chances to secure European capital funding.  LEADER funding is available to local businesses, communities, farmers, foresters and land managers. However, one barrier to applying for LEADER funding is the need to have appropriate finance in the first instance to complete the project before you can access the LEADER grant.

FOLK2FOLK can enable you to access the required funding; allowing you to complete a LEADER application in the knowledge you’ll have sufficient cashflow until your grant is paid.

About the seminar

FOLK2FOLK is hosting a seminar for local farm and other rural businesses to obtain advice and support from local professionals, rural bodies and the Local Action Group (LAG) on how to obtain LEADER grants and alternative funding.

Ian Bell OBE, FOLK2FOLK’s Head of Farm & Rural Engagement will chair a panel of professionals who can answer questions you may have about funding for your project. The panel includes:

  • Local Action Group (LAG) LEADER representatives
  • Coodes solicitors
  • Trinick Davey rural property experts
  • NFU
  • RRL chartered accountants and chartered tax advisors

Refreshments will be provided.
