FOLK2FOLK publishes audited accounts for the year ended 31 January 2026
FOLK2FOLK, the UK’s leading peer-to-peer business lending platform, has published its latest audited accounts, recording a seventh consecutive year of profitability.
The business reported turnover of £5,959,735 for the financial year ended 31 January 2026 (2025: £5,924,811), with profit before tax of £62,709 (2025: £1,836,672).
Turnover remained stable year on year, underlining the resilience of the underlying business model.
Reported profitability reflects a more conservative approach to provisioning, alongside decisions taken in the management of the existing loan book.
During the period, FOLK2FOLK also adopted a more selective approach to new lending, while continuing to invest in its operating platform, people and infrastructure to support the long-term development of the business.
The year also saw the completion of a planned leadership transition, with Kawai Chung appointed Chief Executive Officer and Roy Warren moving to a non-executive role on the Board.
Together, these actions reinforce FOLK2FOLK’s approach to underwriting and portfolio management and position the business to operate effectively through changing market conditions.
Kawai Chung, Chief Executive Officer of FOLK2FOLK, said: “These results reflect a year in which we have maintained a deliberately disciplined approach to how we lend and how we manage the business.
“In a changing market, our focus has been on preserving credit quality, supporting investor outcomes and maintaining the long-term strength of the platform.
“We believe this consistency and discipline in how we deploy capital is fundamental to delivering outcomes for investors over the long term.
“We continue to invest in the platform and capabilities required to support the long-term development of the business.”
