Joanna is an experienced credit and capital markets professional with a strong background in SME lending, portfolio management and institutional credit.
As Head of Strategic Capital at FOLK2FOLK, Joanna leads the business’s institutional funding strategy, overseeing relationships with banks, funds and commercial partners to support the growth of property‑secured lending to regional SMEs. Her role is focused on broadening and deepening FOLK2FOLK’s access to capital while maintaining the discipline and credit standards that underpin long‑term investor outcomes.
Joanna joined FOLK2FOLK in 2019 and brings experience from her earlier career at BNP Paribas in London and Hong Kong, where she specialised in credit strategy and trading across sovereign, corporate and high‑yield markets. She holds an MSc in Statistics from the University of Warwick and a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Bath.
