Kawai brings over 20 years’ experience in financial services spanning commercial real estate lending, banking, private equity, and structured finance.
Prior to joining FOLK2FOLK, he held senior roles at institutions including RBS, Intriva Capital, ARA Venn, and SilverRock Financial Services (now GB Bank), where he built and scaled lending platforms, investment funds, and finance programmes across the UK and Europe.
A Chartered Accountant (ICAS), Kawai is now focused on growing FOLK2FOLK’s impact and reach by combining commercial rigour with an investor-first mindset.
